As a small business, it’s pretty much a learning curve most days. In 2024, we learnt a few things: what worked and what could do with some improvement.

In 2025 we are planning to try a few new things. Below you will learn of the “things” and why we’ve chosen to do these “things”.

Thing 1 PLNTD Guest Creators

In the new year we will be introducing our PLNTD Guest Creators Programme, where we will be welcoming creatives, established or beginners, to hold their own workshops with PLNTD’s support. 

We hope for this to generate a much wider range of fun and unique workshop experiences and provide opportunities for creatives to try out workshop ideas and earn money from ticket sales. This also means that I won’t have to run all the workshops by myself (a win is a win).

January’s Guest Creator has already been selected and tickets are available to get booked into the one of a kind Indian art workshop, that will be guided by Bhumi, who will be travelling all the way from India to carry out Block printing & Zari Embroidery workshops and Mud Mirror art workshops.

Thing 2 PLNTD Pop Up Locations/Collaborations

PLNTD was always supposed to travel, we just haven’t yet. “Bringing positive vibes to the people dem” (our slogan!) means we’ve kind of got to get up and go to other places sometimes, you can’t always be coming to us.

So, in the new year we want to do a lot of collaborations, whether this be workshops or campaigns. We would love to hold workshops in different locations and to partner with companies like cafés, clothing brands, and more to create unique, workshops and/or creative campaigns tailored to different brands and their audiences. 

We’ll be reaching out to companies/brands that we think we could do something with, but if you see this and you're a brand/company that would be interested and you’ve not heard from us yet, please reach out! 

Our aim is to pop up at a minimum of one new location each month. (We’ve not got a location for January yet as it may be cutting it a bit fine but do reach out if you’re willing.)

Thing 3 PLNTD Talk and Paint

Injecting some fun, having deep talks, and essentially marketing mate - tryna be like Stephen Bartlett DOAC (Kidding).

We plan on starting a YouTube series where we sit down and paint on a big canvas together with a guest while asking them questions that encourage deep thought and reflection from a stack of question cards that we are going to create. The cards will aim to support conversations around gratitude, transparency, self-compassion, purpose, and truth.

We hope to generate a feeling of relatability and help different people feel seen through the stories and life experiences of others. So do keep a look out!

We have our first Talk and Paint guest sorted, but we would like some more for future months so please reach out to us if you’d like to get involved in this series. You do not have to know how to paint.
