The Art
Deep rooted
I’ve always loved trees.
It’s not just because they enable me to breath.
I see the beauty in them, and as their roots grow deeper their power extends.
Trees, they are so easy to personify. Their leaves fall just like our tears when we cry.
The world is the wind and the trouble that it brings but if our roots stay deep it can’t move us.
We may sway in life’s breeze. But even when we’re surrounded if our roots stay deep we stay grounded.
Above ground we aren’t stagnant we branch out like a brain storm.
So there’s no need to stay in our current array.
Some trees stand tall through a rain storm.
And some fall.
But they are beautiful and inspiring all in all.
So Many Faces
So many faces.
I never knew I could face this.
Go even further to embrace this.
I could smile and you wouldn’t know that I’ve been stressed for a while.
I could laugh and you wouldn’t know that my glass is below half.
What my face won’t tell you is the pain that I’ve been through.
I am all sizes, shapes and races.
Please be kind to all my faces.
